WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 6 -- Thursday

Hello on Thursday!  How's the day going so far for fic? (If you haven't gotten started on your day as yet, how did yesterday go for writing fic?)

Yesterday was somewhere in between with writing. I did prep work for actual writing, but it was helpful in getting me closer to being able to start a new chapter.

I'm just starting today, hoping to spend at least an hour writing before I have to stop and go to work. I'm at the hardest part of the writing process for me -- I've done all the prep work, research, outlining, etc. Now I just need to get that first sentence down so I can take off writing.

Yesterday was excellent for writing--I probably got 90+ minutes in of writing and editing, and posted one chapter. I'm very close to finishing another chapter for a WIP that I won't start posting until I'm done writing it, so I'm hoping to have that done today.

Five words or less: Latest fic needs more sharks. (There's been a sad dearth of those in my writing lately.)

No writing today. Too many things that I need to get done, though that's moving along nicely. *wipes sweat from brow* Just a bit longer.

I feel as if I haven't spent that much time writing, mostly planning and making lists and just getting in some 5 to 10 minute blocks for writing.
