WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 26 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

I haven't gotten started on my day yet, but I have the day off, so I am working at making sure I get some writing time in! As for the weekend, a writing marathon -- or at least a mini-marathon -- seems to be what I need in order to get back on track!

Finally made more progress. Two shorts from the same fandom, which I'd been wanting to write in for some time now but couldn't come up with any ideas, until I had two within the space of five minutes. The hard part is going back and forth and trying to work on both.

I wrote and posted another fic I finished. Struggling a bit with getting back into the fic I'm working on even though I know where it's going. It's just a transistional part that needs to be written now and is kind of boring me--I want to get to the action again!

I haven't gotten any writing done since a few edits yesterday or the day before (I forget exactly when) - and not likely to today, I've been trying to catch up on a million projects and things - but perhaps on Sunday at some point… I sent off an email yesterday to a prospective beta reader but have had no response yet - if they don't respond in a couple days, I'll try someone else. I've got one assignment to finish and another to edit.
