Vacation? I have a vacation? *headscratch* What is a vacation? ... What have you been doing?

— Thinking. Maybe a little, maybe a lot.
— Writing.
— Outlining, planning, and / or prewriting.
— Researching and / or revisiting canon.
— Editing.
— Sending things to the beta.
— Posting!
— Relaxing, taking a break, etc.
— Other stuff-ing. Look at the comments.

Question: Is a vacation day the same as a day off for you when it comes to planning your writing, or do you treat it differently?

I'm planning today, might get some words involved later, but right now it's thinking and a bit of planning.

A vacation day can be the same as a day off, except a day off is more likely to have some kind of schedule, and vacations tend to be more random than is good for my writing plans. I always think I'm going to have lots of time to write, and then it ends up being too complicated! It helps if it's a vacation that doesn't involve traveling!
