Day 1! "Oh, call back yesterday, bid time return!" ... Yeah, I dropped a '90s Magic: The Gathering quote. It happens. What have you been doing?

Question: Because I have a new a keyboard and am finding it absolutely thrilling: What's the silliest change you've made to your writing space that ended up being very satisfying?

I did something I hardly ever do, which was to post an unfinished WIP. It's about 75% done, and I've liked the idea for a while, so I'm hoping this inspires the rest of the story to come out of hiding.

Also, since I missed yesterday: My longest fic is a Xena story just north of 150,000 words, and while not my first is definitely old enough that it shows all my weaknesses in full, even after "remastering". But embarrassing as it is, like those photographs of yourself in your twenties when you were so sure you knew everything, I love it to this day, warts and all.

Weirdly managed to pump out 2k today on my break so that was nice.

Wrote a few paragraphs and did some editing, which is about all I expected to manage today.

I don't know if it's a silly change, but just this past week I changed my office setup all around, due to getting a new desktop computer and wanting to set it up on the other side of the room so it could plug into the internet directly. I'm really liking the setup, even though my desk is essentially the same, I feel like I have more room in my office and I like the feel of it better. Definitely satisfying!
