Hello on Thursday!  How's the day going so far for fic? (If you haven't gotten started on your day as yet, how did yesterday go for writing fic?)

I'll say my writing day has been excellent so far. I haven't written any words yet, but I have spent some time planning how I will do better at actually generating words daily. I think it will help me to set a goal of writing a certain number of words per day in an attempt to motivate myself to write instead of do writing-type things like planning, research, outlining, etc.

My less-than-five words = Less planning, more writing!

Less time writing today than yesterday, but more planned after lunch. I'm thinking I'm going to try to "goal of X words per day" for one week and see how it goes.

I am having for the most part a very SLOW writing week!

I wrote and posted a drabble. I like to try writing drabbles and ficlets when I'm not making progress on longer things, because then at least I'm writing something. I hope to get more writing done later today.

I wrote! And, in so doing, I met a deadline without coming down to the wire. I'm quite happy with that.
