WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 16 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

I'm struggling a bit to get going today, but I have the day off, so I'll definitely get to writing eventually! My plan is to actually write, along with any research that comes up as necessary. The same goes for the rest of the weekend, maybe I'll even go so far as to have a writing marathon!

I wrote a ficlet from 1am to 4am! Stupid broken sleep.

I hope to do some writing this weekend, but I am going to the movies and to a family event so not the whole weekend.

Made more progress on the WIP, which combined with inspiration through conversation resulted in my posting the start of another WIP. This is the most off-the-cuff I've ever been, and so far I'm enjoying it.

Slowly getting some of my recent fics crossposted to AO3, I've gotten so behind with it. Did a little outlining and looked over a couple of fics that are mostly done and only really need a canon review and SPaG check.

It's an other plans kind of weekend for me which is more tidying up to do and also packing so that I'm ready to leave on Monday. Hopefully I can fit a little something fic related in.

A beta got back to me yesterday with all kinds of suggestions for improvement on one of the exchange fics I'd asked for beta review on, and I added several paragraphs, so both editing and writing happened, yay!

Won't probably add much more this weekend, though - I'm going to see if I can't nominate for Multifandom Tropefest, and then I have a ton of prep for my class starting in a little over a week. So much to do…
