I had a good day. 3,500 words. Magic of finding a good prompt, I suppose. Hope I can build momentum from that start!

Tropes. Hmm. If kinks count as tropes, then ... I could probably write a book. :-P But even without that, I'm sure I've dipped into the trope bucket more times than I'd care to remember. Strip poker is apparently a big one.

Life was too much with me today, so I didn't have time reread my written chapter to see if I wanted to write a bit more on it; guess that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Are "what if" stories and gap fillers tropes? That's what I like to write!

I wanted to comment on this post but my day was hectically busy - and today is nearly as much (getting ready for school to start this year is taking all of my time, including whatever writing time I had), but I had to make some time because I love tropes! (I'm hoping to carve out enough time to nominate and later sign up for Multifandom Tropefest.)

My favorite tropes to write… Emotional hurt/comfort, canon divergence, post-apocalyptic, and missing scenes (if that can be called a trope). There are others I'd love to write but I've never gotten around to it…
