I apologize in advance, but, due to the daffiness of my schedule, the check-in posts are going to be all over the map this week. Might be early in the morning, might be late at night, might be smack in the middle of the day! But they will be there. What have you been doing?

Question: How many drafts does it typically take you to get a story to come out the way you want?

Date: Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 01:01 (UTC)My drafts usually don't vary all that much, so I'm not sure how many I technically have. I edit at least three times, and each time changes are made, so maybe at least 3?

Date: Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 01:19 (UTC)I've barely managed to write anything so far, so I don't know how many drafts it would take for me to get a story I'm satisfied with. I'm also guilty of posting a first draft. I got so caught up in the "I actually wrote something" high that I sent it out without editing it.
