Hello on Sunday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I thought about my fic once or twice
       - I wrote
       - I did some planning and/or outlining
       - I did research and/or canon review
       - I edited
       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Sunday Discussion:  It's the beginning of a new writing week, and the end of a writing month!  September is winding down, and with that comes a chance to evaluate how things have gone with your writing goals.  How did you do at meeting your goals this month?  What more can you do to finish the month well?

I've fallen rather short at meeting my goals for this month. I guess the only thing for it is to buckle down and try to write.

So far today I've written 640 words of a new shiny thing and 0 words of the thing I'm supposed to be working on . . . Progress, sorta?

After a weekend of hard physical labor, I finally decided that the one WIP needs me to suss out its structure before I can progress further, which freed me up to start the next chapter of the other WIP.

If I can't make mornings more productive, I'll probably bite the bullet and set a firm writing schedule instead of doing it whenever.

Today was more dealing with life. And wishing I had time to write.

I got my MFTF assignment done this month. I think, given the hecticness of my job, that that's not all that bad for a month's worth of progress. 2000+ words are better than no words. I also signed up for Treatmas, which, being more of a prompt challenge than an exchange, is lower-pressure, but I still want to write something for it at some point, so that's next month's goal. (Somewhere in the middle of tagmodding and work.)
