Question: How often do you drabble? Do you drabble at all?

I've been saving Yahoo Groups and now signing up for Yuletide (besides my work, which takes an inordinate amount of time at home as well as there). Alas, there has not been time for writing. :(

Once in a while - I try to write treats for Multifandom Drabble when I can. I like writing them better than receiving them as gifts, so I don't sign up, but it's fun to do. And sometimes they're just the right size for exploring a new fandom. I do drabble multiples as often as that, though. 200, 500, 600 words…

Been trying to write this last thing for spooktober, but I'm stressed and feel the weight of the deadline of October ending, so it's slow and uphill. :( I don't do well with deadlines. It's like knowing it has to be done by a certain time makes my writing muscles freeze up. My muses want to be free! ;)

I do drabble. But not very often, sadly. I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to them though... and when people call a ficlet of 762 words a drabble... Let's say I get annoyed and vent to my friends. ;) I'm following a few prompt comms for drabbles and double-drabbles, etc, but none of the prompts have sparked anything. I miss the irc gatherings of drabble-night, of my early days in fandom. I think I do better with those kind of prompts rather than just a word to start from. Maybe I'll try drabbling a bit after October's writing madness is over.

Remembered TTH and posted the one of my two current WIPs that's a crossover. Then did a tiny bit of work on the other WIP, and a more significant amount of actual writing on the crossover.

It's been a while since I drabbled. I almost never actually made them exactly 100 words, though it happened once in a while. Sorry to purists, but one of the few times I went by the rules I thought the results were outstanding, especially since titles aren't my strong suit. I may do it again in the future, but I'm mostly concentrating these days on the long-form WIPs as my time grows ever more precious.

I'm trying to regroup after being away from home, but I hope to do something writing related today. Yesterday was not productive, to say the least!

I do drabble, though it's not my main writing method. I usually do it when participating in a fixed length fic challenge, or when I need to supply something for a challenge prompt and don't have time for a long thing!
