Hello on Tuesday! What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?
- I thought about my fic once or twice
- I wrote
- I did some planning and/or outlining
- I did research and/or canon review
- I edited
- I've sent my fic off to my beta
- I posted today!
- I'm taking a break
- I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment
Tuesday Discussion: What do you use to compose your fic? Paper and pen/pencil? Word processing program? What's your favorite program if you use your computer for some aspect of the writing process?

Date: Tuesday, January 7th, 2020 14:09 (UTC)I use paper and pen if I am away from my computer and an idea strikes me. I dislike writing anything at length on my phone. The vast majority of my writing is done at my computer. My favorite program for writing is Jarte -- I love being able to have multiple tabs open in the program, which I find easier than having multiple documents. I have Scrivener but I haven't really taken the time to figure out how to use it. That is something I should really make myself do this year, to see if it might be useful for my writing work.

Date: Tuesday, January 7th, 2020 17:26 (UTC)As I mentioned the other day, I have been looking for a new word processor, but I traditionally use a combination of Edit Pad Lite, Jarte, and Notepad ++ (and Libre Office, if need be). I do my prewriting by hand, more often than not. That green notebook is full of good karma.
