This weekend I played some D&D. After work today I hope to begin my next sketch for the Voltron series I'm working on. I would really love to have that sketched and inked this week if I can!

I did begin my sketch, and I'd like to log 30 minutes a day this week on it if I can!

I had a revelation about the cause of my year-long writer's block, but no idea what to do about it, so I did what I always do when I'm stumped: ordered a book about the subject. *insert rolling-eyes emoji*

So do I. I went over my stats this morning, hoping that my depression had skewed my perception, but even with the numbers adjusted, there's no doubt that the number of comments and the number of commenters took a nosedive in my last two stories, and that's depressing as hell.

I wrote, got a ~400 word connector scene done.

I'm finally caught up on reading the Star Wars: Poe Dameron comic series, it's probably my favorite part of the new expanded universe.

And oh no, that comic series sounds like something my partner might enjoy. *eyes wallet nervously*

It's really great, there's good characterization of Poe and Leia, the rest of Black Squadron gets pretty fleshed out, it deals with why the Republic didn't take the First Order seriously as a threat until it was too late, and it has some competent and engaging villains.

RIP your wallet, at least the series is complete.

I figured out what was blocking me in the fic I'm writing - sorted out a plot point that I needed to know, even though it's not actually needed for the fic. And I'm writing again. Hurrah!

Oh I’m so glad you are writing again. Working out plot is excellent, even if it’s not meant to appear in the fic you’re currently working on.

I figured out how to fix a fic I was struggling with (I changed the POV to a different character and found I could come up with more to say about him) and wrote!

I wrote today! Much of the day was spent working on the next chapter of my WIP but I finished it at last! I'm just letting it sit overnight before posting it, so I can have one more read through in the morning to be sure it is ready to go. It's been a long couple of months between chapters, so I'm really hoping I can churn them out a bit faster after this!

When I wasn't writing and editing today, I was watching the last football game of the season, which was enjoyable. It was a good game!

YAY FINISHING A PROJECT!!! That's the best feeling! Totally take a night or two to let it breathe, but woooo!

I don't have tv and I do miss football. Glad it was a good game!
