I'm aiming to make solid progress on my sketch today as I'd love to have it lined by the weekend.

I once again found myself prepping both for sunshine_challenge and one of my D&D campaigns instead of drawing. I did get quite a lot done, though! Just not on the drawing. So many fun projects to work on, so little time. I also feel like hosting here this week has gotten me more into the writing mood than the drawing mood, so I'll ride whatever inspiration I've got to knock out some outstanding things this week (including that sketch if I circle back around).

I re-watched the old Planet of the Apes movie for my retrospective, and realized how many ideas for my series I had gotten from the movie instead of the tv show. Jotted down some notes, which totally counts as writing *cough.*

Research and planning absolutely count!

I handled life, but I count today as a planning day, too. Moving slowly towards writing, at least as soon as a work-free day presents itself.

What I learned from writing is that the more you write, the more you can write.
