Discussion: forgotten fics. Do you ever come across a fic that you completly forgot you wrote?

Yep. I found what looks like a chunk of an X-Files case fic from 2003 over the weekend and I have no idea when I actually wrote it or even what I was attempting to pull off and I'd kind of dread "asking" younger!self too if that was a possibility. I might have a look at it and see if it can be salvaged before I abandon it.

No writing or editing today. My new job started and the first part of the induction went on for several hours, so now that I'm home I'm too tired to do more than watch telly. Typical.

I was out all day and now that I'm home I'm too tired to write, so that will have to wait for another day.

I don't think I've ever discovered a lost fic, but I have found some lost ideas on scraps of paper I had saved and forgotten about. They weren't enough to be called a fic, but were worth keeping and looking at again.
