Wow, this is almost exactly how I go about writing! I'd always felt weird because I didn't think that anyone else had this kind of process (or if it's even a "process" at all)! I like to joke that I could possibly edit everything I write until the cows come home... Reaching a point where you're satisfied is a long road sometimes!

Well, when you start changing shirt colors and the like or messing with nit-noidy stuff that really doesn't matter--that's when you know you're done. :)
