 Hello on Wednesday!  How are things going in the world of fic?

 

Did you write?

   - Not yet!

 

If yes, what kind of writerly activity did you engage in?  How do you feel about it?

If no, what were the obstacles/situations that affected your writerly pursuits?  What will you do differently tomorrow to get more writing done?

If not yet, because the day hasn't gotten going yet, what kind of writing activity are you planning (or hoping) to accomplish?

I've written a tiny bit, but more is needed. I am currently doing a bunch of research, so we'll see where that goes!

Haven't started yet today (aside from a couple words), but yesterday I found a scene that wasn't working (for reasons of Too Much Exposition Badly Delivered), scrapped it, and rewrote the whole thing from scratch! Today's job is to edit that scene back in with the rest of the fic and see if that fixes some plot issues overall.

I wasn't feeling too great, but late in the evening I knuckled down and finally started my quarantine fic. 1500 words.

Six straight days of successful writing. I think I may have this block beaten once and for all. Now, is it all quality? No, probably not, but it's all writing, and, for now, that's the important thing. One step at a time.
