Hello on Sunday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I thought about my fic once or twice
       - I wrote
       - I did some planning and/or outlining
       - I did research and/or canon review
       - I edited
       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Sunday Discussion:  It's a new writing week, and this week has the advantage of being the end of this month and the beginning of a new month all rolled into one!  Before we look ahead to the new month, however, how did you do at meeting last month's writing goals?

This has been the best month of writing I have had in years. If I can get my work for today off the ground, I will have managed thirty-one straight days of writing, and, now that I have a habit established, I should be able to maintain it going forward. Happy ending, if you ask me.

My origfic goals suffered, but my fanfic flourished as a result. Every day that I don't manage to get any origfic written, I try to at least write some fanfic. Yesterday I had a trying day, so late at night I sat down and wrote 1500 words of fic. Lots of it will need to be trimmed or edited (I was writing to cheer myself up) but I'm glad I did it.
