 Hello on Wednesday!  How are things going in the world of fic?

 

Did you write?

If yes, what kind of writerly activity did you engage in?  How do you feel about it?

If no, what were the obstacles/situations that affected your writerly pursuits?  What will you do differently tomorrow to get more writing done?

If not yet, because the day hasn't gotten going yet, what kind of writing activity are you planning (or hoping) to accomplish?

Not yet for me! I am planning on some canon review today because I have lost track of my story thread, and then I will work on my outline, and then maybe some actual writing!

I'm still struggling with the oneshot that is due on... ah, Friday, ahahaha! I'm halfway through, but I want to edit it before I post it, and I have to edit the other oneshot, too, and why am I doing this to myself??

Answer: because without looming deadlines, I'd probably not write at all in my current state.

Truth be told, I feel incredibly nervous! I’m convinced that the quality of my writing has dramatically decreased due to my burnout, and now I fear that readers will notice, especially since the oneshot is placed within the context of The Cure, one of my finest creations. It will invite comparisons! I just know it!

What I noticed is that my writing seriously lacks description — and since that’s one of the elements I always struggled with, it’s logical that it’s the first to go...

Started late but hard at it again. Re-outlined remaining chapters and much happier about the sequence of events, but still need to be careful with continuity since this wasn't entirely planned out.

Trying to get started for today. Not sure what projects exactly seem enticing right now since I'm feeling pretty un-motivated and exhausted for no real reason. It's frustrating :/
