WIP Challenge Check-In, Day 6

Hello on Friday!  Sorry for being erratic this week with the check-ins!

Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

 

   - I thought about my fic once or twice

   - I wrote

   - I did some planning and/or research

   - I edited

   - I've sent my fic off to my beta

   - I posted today!

   - I'm taking a break

   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

 

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

 

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon

   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes

   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in

   - I'm going to take a break from writing

I wrote quite a lot yesterday, but have not yet had a chance to write today. I have had a very busy week, but now I am finished with that and have some free days ahead, so I think I might do a mini-marathon. I'd like to get ahead in my NaNo writing if possible, and I want to do some side work on my poor neglected WIPs that need a new chapter.

Posted a chapter, which finished more smoothly than it started after a number of rewrites and a bunch of rethinking. Taking a break until this evening when I'll try to come up with more actual story for my Circle of Friends remix. Haven't touched the Xena short in a while so may tackle that over Sunday.

I've had a lot of trouble writing lately, but I decided to challenge myself/take it easy and just do something fun by writing a few drabbles instead of trying so hard to make these other stories happen. So today I've actually posted some words, and for a new fandom too! Sadly, it looks like no one else writes for it (at least I couldn't find any fics for it on AO3), so I've ended up in a lonely place once again! lol Just my luck. But inspiration and love for a character makes it fun anyway!
