*sheepish* I did just that yesterday writing my first SGA ficlet which I'm leaving to settle for a wee while before I start editing it.

Today I wrote about 150 words and mostly intended to take a break, but yesterday I wrote more like 700, finished something, and posted. It's been a productive couple of days!

Sometimes I do lose track of time while writing if it's a scene I'm really really enjoying, or if I'm just generally zoning out that day for other reasons.

Being engrossed and losing track of time are the only times I'm truly productive. Today's so far been spent doing other things, but there's a few hours yet before bed to take advantage of and try to squeeze out some brain droppings, as George Carlin might say.

I haven't posted in forever because I've been dealing with moving to another town by Christmas and haven't had time for writing (barely for keeping up with things), but I did have my Yuletide assignment, which took a bunch of canon reviewing - and I started writing the last couple of days, and today I wrote over 3k and finished it and posted it - and it feels wonderful to have that done. I've still got to try to find a better title but that's how titles go sometimes. :P

I didn't really pay attention to time while I was writing this evening, so I guess the answer would be yes, lol.
