WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 22 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

I haven't been writing much still, so I think a marathon is in order!

Had to work but tomorrow is for catching up with an exchange fic that I'll need to find a beta for fairly soon.

Posted another chapter the other day, but this weekend already looks a little full, so might not get back to writing til Monday.

Yesterday was my marathon day, to make up for a pretty lax Mon-Weds. (My "weekend" is Thurs/Fri.) I got about 200 words total for Monday-Wednesday, but hit over 1000 yesterday! Certainly not a record-setting day, but it still felt pretty good. I'm hoping to get at least some done tonight before I head back to work in the morning.

I wrote a very little bit this morning and thought about various fics at various points today. Spent a lot of time squeeing about fandom in general, which is generally helpful for me personally around writing.

I have two stories that are very near to completion. I would like to finish one of them this weekend, but I am not pushing myself as it's kindness first for me. I do write every single morning though, so it's mostly just whether or not I can produce the necessary content tomorrow and Sunday.

I mean to actually check in yesterday and forgot! I wrote 302 words on some new stuff (homebrew ttrpg adventures) yesterday and that was exciting. I also started a little bit of research for these things.

I am a bit behind on my inkingitout weekly wordcount rate, so I'm hoping to catch up a bit over the weekend.
