WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 2 -- Tuesday

 Hello on Tuesday!  I am very sorry about totally forgetting that Monday was a thing, thus missing a check-in!  Anyway, what kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

 

       - I thought about my fic once or twice

       - I wrote

       - I did some planning and/or outlining

       - I did research and/or canon review

       - I edited

       - I've sent my fic off to my beta

       - I posted today!

       - I'm taking a break

       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Tuesday Discussion:   It is now February which means a new month for writing.  Did you set any writing goals for this new month?

I didn't even think about writing yesterday, but today I am thinking about it, and planning to open up my notes and dive in to planning. My goals for the new month are the same as my older goals -- complete a new chapter for my WIP!

Got scene 3 started. Every word counts.

I haven't written today and I haven't yet set writing goals for February. I do have an exchange due later this month, and I have draft chapters of my WIP that I promised to post (likely on Saturday or Sunday). But also, I'm dealing with a brick of a life thing and until it's over, I can't decide anything big.

I'm still floundering a little bit after finishing the rough draft of my WIP. I think I will make myself wait at least until mid-month before starting the second draft, but I've been itching to work on SOMETHING. I may pick a little self-indulgent thing, or possibly a one-shot/shorter fic. So I've *thought* about writing, but haven't really done any.
