Hello! I haven't hosting in a long time, so it's nice to meet you all again. Today is the start of a fresh new week of writing, let's share some good writing energy by talking about our goals. I don't know about y'all but I could use a hard reset after the struggle of last week. It may be the tail end of the month, but there's no reason to wait to recommit to your writing.

What are you planning to work on this week? How are you feeling about your project? What are your specific goals for the week and how do you plan to support yourself in meeting those goals?

As for today, how are things going? How's your week starting off?

-Did you write some words?
-Did you think about how to write some words?
-Did you decide to take a completely valid and well-earned day off?
-asdfijsdlfkdklfjd?

I've been working on one book exclusively for a while. Just yesterday I felt the urge to pick up a different WIP. Will probably give in to that urge if my current chapter feels like it's dragging its heels.

My goal for the week is to stop procrastinating and start writing the next chapter for my neglected WIP. I have enough of an outline to get started, so I just need to do it. I have written some words today but they were for something other than my WIP -- but an important writing project nonetheless, so the week is off to a decent start.

I'm actually feeling a bit better about my interim project. I really struggled with the start of it, and finally scrapped it because I was having such a hard time with it. I made a few changes to it, and I'm actually pretty happy with the new beginning I've got on it. That did mean throwing out about 1500 or 2000 words, but I have about 1800 new ones that don't make me hate the whole damn thing, haha.

My goal for this week is another 1500 words on this project, and/or an outline for the rest of it. After this week, I plan to go back to my "real" project and do a second draft, so an outline might be the better option, in case I decide to come back to it in the future.

I haven't gotten any writing done yet today, but I'll try to fight my way through a little before I head to bed.
