It's Friday! The week, and the month, are almost over. It's been a bit of a scramble to reach my monthly word count goal with a few less days, so March is already feeling like less claustrophobic as I think about next steps, both with the extra days and the promise of spring.

Discussion of the day: Do you like to have a monthly writing plan? If so, how do you like to organize it? Have you started thinking about your writing plan and goals for March?

And for today:

-Did you write some words?
-Did you think about how to write some words?
-Did you decide to take a completely valid and well-earned day off?
-asdfijsdlfkdklfjd?

I barely manage weekly writing plans, let alone monthly. Like most other things, I take it one day at a time. Nothing yet today, but the sun is out and I get to spend time with my loved one.

I tend to not have a monthly plan exactly, but I have a monthly goal, and then I try to come up with a plan to make it happen. This involves writing every day, either a specific word count or amount of time spent on a particular project. I try to write at least 500 words a day, though that is not always fic writing -- sometimes, like today, it is writing for work. I actually managed 1500 words for work, today, so I think I will take the rest of the day off, and plan to write fic tomorrow.
