WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 19 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

Yesterday I wrote a bit, but not much because it was a really busy day. Therefore, I think it might be time for a writing marathon this weekend. I have the time for a change, so I think I will try that and see how much I can move forward with my WIP!

Wrote a bit yesterday, and a bit more already today.

I was thinking the next few weeks/months would be taxing enough on my time and mental focus that I wouldn't get much writing done, if any. Then I got some minor bad news which just made me shrug and look at the bright side, to wit, I can still mostly focus on writing. So here's to a weekend well spent on what really matters.
