WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 28 -- Sunday

Hello on Sunday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I thought about my fic once or twice

       - I did some planning and/or outlining
       - I did research and/or canon review

       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Sunday Discussion:  It's a new writing week, and the last week of the current month.  How are you doing so far with meeting writing goals for the month?

I did some reading in my genre that has stirred a few possible ideas and vague feelings of "I should work on my fic!" but that's about it so far this weekend.

I am not doing well with my goals this month at all, so I am taking some time today to try to figure out how to remedy that!

While I still haven't gotten into "writing writing", I did flesh out one scene in the current chapter and I'm really liking the "slowly growing clearer" explanation of what's going on with this character. Already thinking this coming week will be much better.

I was mostly doing some drafting and planning how to do the actual writing, arranging the illustration done by my partner, other planning-stuff. It felt like progress.
Given that i had to consider dropping out of this fandom event, i'm not satisfied but if i look at how much i could progress with this story with all the Life That Happened, it's not that bad.

I wrote! And I did some planning. I started a fic on Friday that is now over 2000 words!

I hope I finish it!
