WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 7 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

I got some writing in yesterday, and a bit of editing, which I was happy about. Today should be a good day for writing, with nothing pressing on the docket. Here's hoping I make good use of my free time today and this weekend and make some real progress with my writing projects!

I joined a Writer's Café but the exercise they were doing really didn't work for my WIP. Though, i did write a character study on young Jingyan and Xiao Shu in a fit after i finished a job interview but all in all, i didn't really moved forward with my script.
As for the weekend, i mean to catch up on the scriptwriting exercises before next week's lesson.

Sunday: I've stopped writing one of my fics while I'm doing research. Meanwhile, I've started fleshing out the characters and setting for another fic that I set aside some months ago after I got blocked; this time my ideas for the plot and the ending are much clearer. I felt unproductive because I didn't actually write any prose, but I suppose the preparation work is just as important.
