Hello on Tuesday! What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?
- I thought about my fic once or twice
- I wrote
- I did some planning and/or outlining
- I did research and/or canon review
- I edited
- I've sent my fic off to my beta
- I posted today!
- I'm taking a break
- I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment
Tuesday Discussion: Do original characters play a role in your writing? Is their role a major one, or minor?

Date: Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 12:39 (UTC)I have a couple of OC's that are important to my WIP. Two in particular have a major role -- they don't appear in every chapter, but their impact on the story is significant.

Date: Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 17:11 (UTC)Edit: OC's are playing a relatively minor part in my current book and have not been a major element in the series. I was always hesitant with them in my fic, but I've grown more confident and willing to employ them to my various and nefarious purposes. The closest thing in my work to original fiction would be the WIP that's set in an established fandom, but whose narrator and secondary main character are both OC's.
