WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 15 -- Sunday

Hello on Sunday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I thought about my fic once or twice
       - I wrote
       - I did some planning and/or outlining
       - I did research and/or canon review
       - I edited
       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Sunday Discussion:  It's a new writing week, and that means a fresh start.  Maybe last week wasn't the greatest for getting writing things done -- what kind of goals do you have for starting off fresh this week?

I thought about my fic, but I couldn't manage writing even though I was on vacation the last week or so. My schedule was just out of whack! Now I am back in a routine so I hope I can do better at applying myself to writing my fic.

Wishing you the best with your writing. You'd think vacation time would be conducive to a writing breakthrough but sometimes the lack of routine can actually hinder one's ability to focus. The writing muse is so weird that way.

Slow last couple of days, but today should be open all day. Hoping to get another chapter posted by next week.

I ended up finishing chapter 2 of my fic, so I have to come up with another goal for the month. I thought it would take longer because I've been chipping away at it, and I planned for a higher word count, but the chapter came to a natural conclusion. So, I'm going to pivot to finishing two more chapters this month, and see how that goes.

I love making decisions that result in more productivity without actual work :)
