WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 14 -- Tuesday

Hello on Tuesday!  Sorry about missing yesterday, not sure where the day went, actually!  Anyway, back to writing.  How's the day going so far for fic? (If you haven't gotten started on your day as yet, how did yesterday go for writing fic?)

How much time have you spent on writing fic today, roughly?

    - 30 minutes or less

Tuesday through Thursday during the week are my busiest days of work, and I am anticipating not getting any writing done. I will be lucky if I can even find time to think about my fic, but I need to figure out how to do at least that and more, because my schedule is not changing any time soon.

My five words -- Busy, but determined to write!

Yesterday got almost 1800 words into the new chapter. Today my back still hurts and my skin is bugging me more than usual and I need something to distract me and stop me from scratching and picking. So I just took care of a few small responsibilities and now I'm diving into writing for as much of the rest of the day as I can manage.

Five words: I love my fictional worlds.

Update: Finished first two scenes for a chapter total of almost 3000 words. Back still hurts but skin doing better, wife is visiting, and more writing planned before bed. Five words: It's going very well indeed.

Managed another drabble in the morning. I would like to make morning writing into a habit, see how that works for me.

I didn't work on my WIP for this challenge today, but I'm okay with that because I got a lot of writing done on another WIP I'm working on for the same fandom. I'm going to pick up my Halloween fic tomorrow.
