Hello, writers! Today is our last writing sprint and also my last day as your check-in host for the month. Y'all have made some wonderful progress over the last two weeks. tbh I can't believe October is basically gone. It went so fast. Good luck to everyone with finishing up your October goals and figuring out what you'd like to work on in November.
Today's writing sprint window: 9 am - 12 pm ET (There will be comment threads for each one hour window in the sprint.)
Discussion prompts:
- What part are you looking forward to getting to in your fic?
- Are you currently working on something new or have you gone back to a WIP you'd set aside for awhile?
- What's your favorite fandom to write for or your favorite character/relationship to write about?

Date: Saturday, October 30th, 2021 15:31 (UTC)Looking forward to the end of this fic. Not that it's been a chore or a pain or a slog; on the contrary, it continues to be one of my few real pleasures in life. But even if this series hasn't resulted in a flood of hits and the adulation of millions, I know it's one of the best things I've ever written, and it's definitely my best long work. Even if that's easy because I mostly write short.
Been working on this final book in the trilogy a little over a year and literally haven't written or planned one word of anything else. Did at least come up with an idea for a new short that I'm looking forward to tackling, but until this series is done it's my focus 100%.
Favorite fandom appears to be Buffy, either standalone or as a crossover. Favorite character is without a doubt Faith, aka "the little black dress of fandom", and a close second is Willow whether or not I'm writing them as a couple - my favorite ship, and the biggest missed opportunity in canon.
