WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 3 -- Wednesday

Hello on Wednesday!  Sorry to miss yesterday, it was Tuesday and Tuesdays are always crazy around here.

So, how are things going in the world of fic?

Did you write?

   - Yes!
   - No!
   - Not yet!

If yes, what kind of writerly activity did you engage in?  How do you feel about it?
If no, what were the obstacles/situations that affected your writerly pursuits?  What will you do differently tomorrow to get more writing done?
If not yet, because the day hasn't gotten going yet, what kind of writing activity are you planning (or hoping) to accomplish?

Yesterday being crazy, it was hard to eke out enough words to call it a successful NaNo day, but I managed it. Today is going better; I have written a bit and planned a bit and have a good feel for what I work on today when I get time to write more, later after work. It was helpful to have a bit of time this morning to get my thoughts lined up for later!

Last couple days including today I was doing RL things *and* expecting visitors who ended up rain checking. So, writing the rest of the day. Irritated, but determined.

Yesterday: Finished a scene that I've had trouble wrapping up. I'm not thrilled with it, but I can always go back and edit later.

Today: Need to work out some issues with how magic works within the plot--the canon i'm writing in has magic, but is pretty vague on how it works. On the one hand, it's nice to have freedom in determining how a specific scenario works...but it's also a bit frustrating when trying to write something that sounds "true" to the canon.

I wrote, and I did a lot of sprinting! it was strange.

It was strange in that it's so hard to make myself just... sit and work. it's so hard.
