WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 5 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

I have written about 1K words so far this morning, which is a nice start to the day. I did a bit of research, too, which was fun. I have the day off, so I plan to keep writing as I am able, though it won't be a marathon in particular. I think I will stick iwth my current rate of writing and see how it goes!

I wrote! Finally reached 15k, so I'm happy.

I will write more this weekend - at least on Saturday, and on Sunday, I'm going to take a well deserved rest.

Today's been craptacular and I'm going to fight against the storm of shit by getting at least one paragraph done before bed, then continuing as much as possible through the weekend.

I wrote! Not much but words got on the page. I still have no clue how I want to do this flashback in chapter 1 of my Miluca supernatural AU but I'm happy I wrote something.

Tomorrow I'm going to finish up the end of the fic so that's complete and once again try to get a grasp of what exactly it is I want to do with this flashback.

Today I had a thought that it should be a flashback that runs through the whole fic so it'd be a story within a story. The idea is still percolating though so it's just a thought right now.

But anyway I'm happy that I got some writing done. 😊

got 300 words in. while its not as much as i'd like, i'm trying not to beat myself up over it since i don't have a lot of free time during the week.

for the weekend, i'd love to get a solid 2k words in but i don't know if that's feasible; while i'm not scheduled to work, i do have some housekeeping things to do.
