WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 12 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  No one was signed up to do check ins this past week so I thought I would pop in with my usual Friday check in post just to keep things rolling!

So, looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

 

   - I thought about my fic once or twice

   - I wrote

   - I did some planning and/or research

   - I edited

   - I've sent my fic off to my beta

   - I posted today!

   - I'm taking a break

   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

 

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

 

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon

   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes

   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in

   - I'm going to take a break from writing

I was doing well until the last few days, when life got too busy to even think about writing. I am getting back on track this weekend, and I should be back to my current November output soon. However, it might take a wee bit of a writing marathon to do it!

I got more written yesterday than expected but kept going over and editing it more than I'd like. Hoping at this point all progress can be forward.

It's so hard to keep from going back and editing. I try to be better about not doing that, because I've bogged myself down badly with it before, but sometimes you just want to get it right!

All my ongoing fics are still on hiatus for NaNo, but I HAVE so far kept up on this month's project, with over 1800 words today.

Gotta keep pushing forward!
