WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 26 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Sorry about not realizing I had intended to post check ins this week -- I was too busy prior to this to manage it anyway, but now I am good!  Hope you all have been writing copious amounts of words in the meantime!

Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

Yesterday was impossible for writing, but today is totally free and I am thinking I will be going with a writing marathon. I definitely have some catching up to do with my writing, so that seems like a good way to get back on track.

This morning i went back to my 30 mins routine. Unfortunately, tomorrow i will have a long shift so the weekend probably won't be for writing.

I got this month's chapter of The Devil Went Down to Roswell posted last week, so I've been concentrating on cleaning up my fic Vorare. It's an Everlark Hunger Games fic set during the Victory Tour.

I haven't posted a new chapter since 2018, but I'm hoping to have one up in January. First, however, I'm going to make it more readable by inserting more paragraph and dialogue breaks.

Blocks of text, no matter the quality of writing, truly detract from a story. So I've been breaking things up. I'm also working on my continuity notes.

I don't think I'll be getting in any new writing on Vorare for the time being, but I'm okay with that.
