WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 2 -- Sunday

Hello on Sunday and welcome to 2022!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I did some planning and/or outlining
       - I did research and/or canon review
       - I edited
       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Sunday Discussion:  Today is the first Sunday of the new year.  Have you made any resolutions/goals/expressed any intentions about your writing?  Any plans you hope to implement that will make your writing better or more effective?

I am just getting started with my day, but writing will happen later on. I set some goals for writing daily specifically for a WIP that I am planning on completing this year sometime. I already have an established writing routine, so I am switching it up a bit to make sure that a certain number of those words I write are for my WIP.

Just settling in for the evening, but I don't think I'll be getting any writing done. Gonna try and finish my drawing for the ThanZag zine as final check in is on the 16th.

What I did, though, was posting that story I've proofread yesterday. :D

I definitely thought about my fic! Though then work was kind of a mess, so I lost out on most of that early motivation, alas.

I did set some writing goals, though! I joined a couple yearly challenges: both InkingItOut and GetYourWordsOut, so hopefully that'll help me stay motivated.

The main plan is to finish some WIPs this year!

I wrote! Usually January and February are my worst writing months, so glad to be doing okay so far. Goals are to keep up a decently regular writing habit, and practise my outlining, and make a decebt start on something novel-length.
