WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 4 -- Tuesday

Hello on Tuesday!  I apologize for missing yesterday, it was a crazy day and I didn't remember about checking in until very late!

Anyway, how's the day going so far for fic? (If you haven't gotten started on your day as yet, how did yesterday go for writing fic?)

This month is taking off too quickly for me and I am behind already. I have a busy day of work ahead, but I am planning to spend time getting caught up with my writing goals this evening.

My five words: Under pressure but still hopeful!

I managed to back into my morning writing habit. Well, two days are maybe not "back into" yet but so far, so good.

The morning is such a good writing time if you can manage to get it in. I hope the habit clicks back into place for you.

I'm currently on the researching and planning part of working on my next chapter of The Devil Went Down to Roswell. I worked on some character bits today and, if I'm up to it, I'll work on it some more tonight.

For this chapter, I don't believe I'll actually be putting words to virtual paper for at least a week or more. I've made piece with that though and am steadily making progress.

I'd like to squeeze in 15-20 minutes to begin writing on Young Gods tonight, but I'm okay if I don't.

My five words for myself are: don't get lost in weeds.

I spent about 30 minutes writing and I hoped to continue to write for this amount of time.

More than 90 minutes...

Took way too long!

(But got over 1000 words in the end, even if it took me all afternoon and evening to make it happen.)

I have no idea for how long I've written, but I did manage to get out a little over 500 words. Not a lot, but it was my first writing session of the year.

It was quite late and writing was the last thing on my mind, but I received a wonderful comment on my fic and it motivated me to get some words out. Bless commenters, to be honest.

I didn't write, but I was drawing yesterday and will do so again in a bit, so I'm quite alright with that.

Not sure for how long I was drawing, though. I streaming for 1,5h when I started colouring, but before, I was doing outlines. So might have been 2,5 to 3 hours.
