Outlets for my creativity - let's see. I enjoy taking pictures, and manage to get a good one now and then, though I'm a loooong way from being a "photographer." And I like tinkering with icons, though I'm no great shakes at that either.

I guess I'm back on break, though I did tinker with my exchange fic last night for a short time.

Nothing today so far, just reading fic in between answering phone calls.

Discussion topic...I have recently gotten back into cross-stitching, but other than that not much at the moment.

I realised that the scene I'm currently editing needs to be rewritten from scratch. Basically, I'll have to temporarily get rid of one of the involved characters. I already have a vague idea what to do about it; hopefully I'll be able to write the new version down tomorrow.

Haha, yes, the reason I'm not a very prolific writer is that there's so much I like to do. On top of my list is definitely coding. I also dabble quite regularly with all sorts of graphical stuff.

I'm planning an 'epiphany' scene because a story climax with nailbiting action is a bit much for a world where all people do most of the time is play Go (Hikaru no Go fandom).

Other creatve outlet - music. It doesn't feel very close to writing but things they do seem to have in common are the need to warm up and practice regularly.

Just my 750 Words for today, but kind of useful noodling in there.

I write bits & pieces elsewhere, nothing really formal (zines, stuff in my journal, occasionally pieces for other blogs). I've done sewing (including some cosplay) in the past, but not now as I don't have a sewing machine or access to one. I really would like to get back into other creative things that I've done before, or try new things, but am stymied in part by lack of money, etc. It's frustrating!

Today I didn't do much writerly stuff as I suddenly got held up with a few things, both internet and real life wise. I got an email from my beta saying she'll get both one scene I want her to look over again and the second chapter of my Big Bang. She send me back the one scene and I edited it, but not Chapter Two yet. I'm thinking she's a bit busy at the moment so I'll give her a couple days before asking nicely over the delay. Tomorrow I'll try to get back finishing that chapter, woo.

I do graphics, mainly making banners, icons, and wallpapers through both GIMP and Photoshop. Sometimes I make banners for my friend's stories and my own.I have a lot of fun doing that.

Haven't had much time for writing this last week or so. Been sorting out things for uni, first lectures today :D I have had my head in a Ethics textbook most days for the pre-reading for that module.

I'm planning on getting a couple of fics finished and posted in the next couple of days, just depends how much pre-reading I'll have to do for tomorrow's lectures. Also planning on getting some more work on my smallfandombang fic (if I can get my DVD player to work!)

Besides writing I make icons, wallpapers and sometimes fanmixes. Rarely make fanvids though - too time consuming.

Did a bit of much-needed editing.

Besides writing - oh, I pretty much try everything at least once... things I have tried (and enjoyed) so far are drawing, painting, photography, making fanmixes, podficcing, singing, composing (well, for a certain value of composing...), sewing, knitting, painting t-shirts... reorganizing my files, that one's definitely a creative outlet. :P
