WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 26 -- Wednesday

Hello on Wednesday!  I am very sorry for being out of the loop the last two days, I guess I must have just succumbed to the craziness of life or something!  Anyway, hope things have been going along well for writing!  Tell me, how are things going in the world of fic?

Did you write?

If yes, what kind of writerly activity did you engage in?  How do you feel about it?
If no, what were the obstacles/situations that affected your writerly pursuits?  What will you do differently tomorrow to get more writing done?
If not yet, because the day hasn't gotten going yet, what kind of writing activity are you planning (or hoping) to accomplish?

No, I have not written yet this week. I was out of town away from my regular routine and I didn't even think about it! Which is too bad, of course, but not having my regular routine does tend to throw me off. However, I am back home now trying to reestablish my routine, and I plan to make some time for writing and writing-related pursuits today.

I have written every day of this week. I tried to reach at least 1K per day. On most days I made it up to 2K and one day it was even around 5K. I am still amazed of how easily I the stories get written and how many ideas I have.

I'm currently writing out of my usual comfort zone since it is a Slice of Life story with some comedy parts in it. One of my writing goals this year was to get better at writing humorous parts. I find them amusing but I know it may be an odd humor and it is not everybody's cup of tea.

What counts is, that I have fun while writing.

In fact, tbh, I did! I've been sitting down at my lunch and just writing while eating a protein bar. It makes me feel a little fancy, so it's actually helped me write some more, as strange a it is. I was getting in my head before, and I'm definitely not doing that anymore. ^^

I hope to work on my wip with clueless/pining trope.

Silly me got that Pokémon Diamond remake because she wants Darkrai in Legends. Thus, the work on that illustration came to screeching halt. After 2,5 days of constant gaming, I'm now at a point where I can put the game aside. But sadly I'm too tired, so I don't know if I can get any more illustration work done.

I've written a lot this week and done a bunch of revising. But the end of the month is starting to breath down my neck and we'll see if I hit my goal of posting by then.
