I've been on the so-so train for the past two days and, well, I'm hoping that I'll be able to get off the train, i.e. write, tomorrow. *Pouts*

Re the bonus question: I've never used Grammerly, but I've been curious abt it. At least enough to give it a try in the nearish future.

I wrote, well tidied up a now abandoned fandom meta project and posted it.

I've tried Ginger a few times, it's similar to Grammerly but I didn't really find it useful, although I suspect that's down to my dyslexia not liking the suggestions that come up.

Today has been Awesome. Got a bit of writing done and sent it to my two cheerleaders who are urging me to keep working on this story. More writing planned for later this evening.

I started using ProwritingAid--I paid for a year's subscription because I liked the free version so much. I really like the grammar checking on it and it's had some helpful hints. I don't use it necessarily while I'm working on the story itself but rather for editing afterwards. I need to just write without worrying about editing first or I get so caught up in that and going back and fixing stuff again and again that I never get things done!

I'm not familiar with ProwritingAid, but I get what you mean about not using it until AFTER you're done writing a draft. NGL, I'm the same. Editing-as-I-write means I'll never finish anything. /o\

Managed to do a little free writing on an idea earlier. Might work on the WIP more later though.

I started using Scrivener last year and it's been a godsend for keeping me somewhat organized.

Scrivener is GREATNESS. I bought it for abt 55% off regular price a few years ago and still love it. And that's even with me not using all of its bells and whistles!

Wrote some! Not the WIP i neglected for two weeks now but wrote!
I have a grammar extension in my browser but otherwise, no. I'm cobsidering, though, so i'm eyeing everyone's replies.

I think (unsure cuz I haven't looked into it THAT deeply) that Grammerly has a similar thing (an extension) for its desktop version? IDK. Back when I used Chrome, I had one and it drove me a bit bonkers. Because I either had to turn it off all the time OR it'd try to correct my writing 24/7/365--even in tweets!

So I got a bit frustrated and was gonna delete it...but I ended up switching over to Firefox, LOOOOOL.
