It's Thursday! One day closer to the weekend.

How are your characters doing today?

• They took over a pirate ship and are just hoisting the sails. (I wrote.)


• They've just escaped one of Jigsaw's games. (I edited.)


• They're sitting by the campfire with marshmallows and hot tea. (I did research/outlining/scheming.)


• They're hitting the clubs with some friends. (I sent something to a beta.)


• They've just left to fight the Dark Evil Lord. (I've posted my fic.)


• They're playing hide and seek with me, the silly buggers. (I'm taking a break.)

Loki tried to take that pirate ship but failed. I wrote four words and I guess that'll be it for today. Another day of fuzzy head…

I did editing sprints on Discord with a friend this morning. Progress is slow-going, but it's going!

It's a yo ho life for me. Today I spat on my hands, hoisted the black flag, and made real actual progress for the first time in over six months. Setting a goal to finish this chapter by Monday -- just finish current scene plus one more after that. Then three more chapters plus epilogue, and it's a wrap.
