WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 20 -- Wednesday

Hello on Wednesday!  I just thought I would pop in and see how everyone is doing with their writing in the middle of the week!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I thought about my fic once or twice
       - I wrote
       - I did some planning and/or outlining
       - I did research and/or canon review
       - I edited
       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Wednesday Discussion:  Are you making progress with your WIPs this week, or is today a good day for a fresh start and some new goals?

I have had a very busy week and a half, and while I have been getting a bit of writing done in spite of all that, this week so far has been discouraging with very low word counts. Still, I am getting a bit written here and there! Today I am off work to go to the dentist, so I may not actually feel like much writing after that, but I am going to try to take advantage of a day with no other commitments and see how I can advance in my WIP!

I've been mostly taking a break, with some canon review or research put in there, too.

ETA: managed to write a wee little bit, too.

I clocked in my word count for Camp NaNo just before midnight, right after I finished writing. I keep thinking that it's a bad habit to put off writing until the end of the day, but the pressure seems to work?

I feel like I should be writing more when I have the time, but I'm still glad to be making progress just the same.

It's not a good writing phase. My ideas for the DoT fics are good, I think, but when I try to write them it feels… dunno, generic? Boring? I might attempt doing a drawing instead.

Apart from that, I did some background timeline for my big WiP and got an idea for something further down the line. So while I'm not writing as such, I'm still doing something.
