WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 24 -- Sunday

 Hello on Sunday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

 

       - I thought about my fic once or twice

       - I wrote

       - I did some planning and/or outlining

       - I did research and/or canon review

       - I edited

       - I've sent my fic off to my beta

       - I posted today!

       - I'm taking a break

       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

 

Sunday Discussion:  It's a new writing week, and the last week of the current month.  How are you doing so far with meeting writing goals for the month?

Yesterday was a total wash as far as writing goes, today I am getting a slow start to the day but there is the promise of writing time on the horizon!

My goals have been partially met but the WIP I wanted to post a new chapter for remains dormant. However, during a brainstorming session the other day, I got some new ideas which are very appealing, so I am hoping that writing them up today will jump start my work on that WIP.

My goals for this month (get to a certain badge for Dick or Treat) have been met, there's one thing that'll fit the 5th weekly challenge, so I'm waiting to post that.

However, writing's not my friend at the moment. Maybe I'll get some outlining or researching in, but overall, I'm not a wording kinda person. Even reaching my monthly goal was not through doing fanfic, but through doing fanart…

I wrote a little.

I've written 7 new fics this month and 6 were for fffc prompts, those are already posted, the one I'm making beta edits on is proving to be frustrating because the edits are so minor. I started working on both unconventionalcourtship and het_bigbang. I also read through an older fic to try and finish it for this round of wipbigbang.

I've started going down to the library now and then to write and that change of scenery seems to be working for me. I'm actually not sure what my word count is atm for this month since I need to transfer it all over to my desktop. @>@

I did write, though, it was editing mostly. I am not meeting my writing goals but i've accepted that for this month and glad to have just kept going.

Got some writing done. Not on a fic I've been really thinking about, but it was words on the page and I'm happy about that.
