WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 15 -- Sunday

Hello on Sunday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I did research and/or canon review

       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Sunday Discussion:  It's a new writing week, and that means a fresh start.  Maybe last week wasn't the greatest for getting writing things done -- what kind of goals do you have for starting off fresh this week?

I desperately need a fresh start after a week of accomplishing nothing (mostly due to being sick), so my main goal for this new week is to just try to do a little writing every day, and that will be better than what I managed last week!

Finished scene 1 last night, which is good. Even better is that today the momentum continues and scene 2 is already putting a smile on my face. My goal for this week is to write a scene every day, or at least most of one. 14 scenes total in this chapter, then 2 more chapters plus epilogue and book 3 and the trilogy are done.

What's really nice about last week is that I got an actual constructive criticism type of comment, which almost never happens. And it's made me want to do something I basically never do, which is to go back and revise an already posted work -- in this case, book 1 of the trilogy. Not enough to call it a 2.0, but a 1.1 for sure, with a handful of edits and additions to make character identities, actions and motivations less confusing.

I took a break for Sunday, but DEFINITELY have to get my butt in gear again. This last week was pretty mediocre, so this week needs to be better, ha.
