Am I the only one who is v. O___o at the fact that it's THURSDAY?

Anyways, if you were to compare today's writing to a movie ranking...

- My movie won all the awards (I wrote);

- My movie was a remake that proved to be more popular than the original (I edited);

- My movie went straight to DVD/streaming (I research something/thought abt a part that needs fixing);

- My movie was only shown in my living room (I didn't write)

My movie won No Award. Most of the first scene done, though it would have been more if I hadn't been waiting for a visit that didn't happen.

Popping back in to say it's going great. Another scene down, 4 to go, and it just continues to get so much better going from planning stage to finished draft. So ends the longest single piece I've ever written, the longest series at over a hundred and fifty thousand words longer than my decade-old abandoned Faith the Vampire Slayer, and quite honestly what feels like the best writing of my twenty-plus years in fan fiction. Unless I fail to stick the ending by royally screwing up the epilogue, or I get hit by a truck before posting it.

(Seriously, I'd be pleased and proud to have these stories read by any of the actors associated with these characters. And while of course it would be great to have them get more attention and appreciation, more than anything else, I'm happy and satisfied because not only did I actually finish (*), I've seen myself grow as a writer during the process and created something genuinely better.)

It's only playing in the living room. Real life has been a bit not nice… And the next week won't see a lot of writing either, as I've got a friend staying over.
