800-ish words trying to figure out what I want to do w/my Kaleidoscope assignment! Though am in desperate need of canon refresh before I can hammer out some details.

I don't have a warm-up routine, really -- I think doing 750 Words every day is the closest thing I get to it...

Ive not made much progress with Ogata-sensei (the character I'm trying to ingrate) yet. But I have written a kind of main character emotional throughline plan about Touya Akira. The parts of the story had been wirtten so long apart that it didn't have much coherance. I guess that made about 500w or no!fic.

Warm ups: I like to imagine the character I'm writing in a situation so mundane that I couldn't possibly use it in my fic. But musing about it does help me know a character better and generate ideas. For example, I am convinced, with no justification or canon evidence, that Yashiro Kiyoharu brushes his teeth with the tap running and that he must do this before he does his hair so that he doesn't messthe gelled spiky bits up with all the water he's splashing around. I'm still speculating on whether he does it shirtless or not...

Anyway, these details are no real use to the fic (and writing them is consequently not too daunting) but at least it gets me thinking along the right lines.

Now for Ogata-sensei taking his suit to the cleaners.

Just getting started for the day...not too many words under my belt yet, but as it's a love scene, I'm not really expecting a whole lot of words to come pouring out of me. Love/sex scenes usually happen in fits and starts for me.

Warm up routines may or may not be thinking about the fic in advance, about what I need to writing next and/or reading through the last bit so I can prime the pump so to speak and get my brain engaged with where the fic's at.

What is it about me at my own personal computer during my own break time that makes everyone want to have long conversations with me? O_o Can't they see I have characters in mortal peril??

I posted a chapter, and I cannot for the life of me remember if it was today or yesterday.

Now I have to build up a small supporting character. He doesn't have a big role, but I'd like to know more about him all the same. Gearing in for a big weekend, writing-wise.

I think all I've been doing this month is a warm-up routine. Getting _not_ scared of writing. I may be well on the road to this (if I don't stop writing), but now to start being not scared of longer fics...

Somewhat of a long day today, but I was able to do a bit of editing here and there on a couple scenes of my Big Bang. Some of the them were bugging me so I decided to see real quick if I could fix something. One of the scenes I'm unable to figure out how to expand it/make it better, bleh. I hope my beta will give some suggestions once I send in the chapter with that scene to her.

I don't think I have a warm up for myself saved for maybe how I'll write up some scenes if I can be able to come up something (otherwise I'll just make up as I go if I'm desperate).
