WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 24 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  I thought I would jump in a bit before my scheduled week of doing check ins and see how things are going with everyone.  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

I have been traveling and away from home and have not even really thought about my fic the whole time, which is a bit sad. But now I am back home in my regular routine and I want to get back on track. I am thinking a wee marathon might be in order!

I posted today! :D After implementing beta-reading comments this morning! Very happy with today's progress, haha.

A day late, but I finally wrote today! Over 2,000 words, even! I haven't written anything in about two weeks, and dropped a pinch hit because it was stressing me out so much, so I'm very happy I managed something.
