Most of the year, I'm doing exchanges or challenges of one sort or another, so I don't have to make decisions about which story to pursue. Right now, my decision about what to write is driven by wanting to qualify for Remix in a new fandom. Otherwise, I'd probably be working on the WIP I've had in progress for more than a decade. I want to finish that before I get too deep into any other big project.

I am glad to know you've had a WiP in progress for that long; it makes me feel less lonely. :)

My epic WiPs have only been going for five or six years, but I really want to get at least part of something posted.

I wish I had your focus when it comes to challenges & exchanges; I am so terrible at winning challenges that I've given up writing for other people, so if I write too slowly at least I only let myself down. I really admire people who can complete challenges and exchanges.
