So, what were your latest acts of amazingness?
I'm trying to write some short stories because I need practice finishing things, but multi-chapter adventures are where my heart is. Keeping things simple is quite a challenge (although it's fun to try).

Date: Wednesday, February 18th, 2015 04:05 (UTC)As things stand, the longest complete thing I've written is the Yuletide fic that clocked in at 3,700 words - not even half the minimum length I look for when choosing fics to read!

Date: Wednesday, February 18th, 2015 12:10 (UTC)I used to do nothing but longfics, but I've since learned to focus on shorts instead. Not to be crude, but 'ficcers get a very low return on their time investment, for the most part, when they do longfics, especially in smaller fandoms like the ones I inhabit. It's been my experience that most readers don't have the patience for them.
