Three Weeks for Dreamwidth Friending/Subscribing Meme!

A few people mentioned that they'd be interested in a friending/subscribing meme in this comm as part of three_weeks_for_dw. Since we now have over 150 people subscribed to this comm (holy moly!), that sounds like a good idea.

Some of us have been chatting to each other about writing for a while, but there are always new writing buddies or fandom friends (or non-fandom friends, heh) to be made, & I for one am looking forward to finding out more about the people hanging around here!

Hee! I have spent many happy hours researching things that may never make it into fic! I am an unapologetic hoarder of esoteric information, and tend to glee about making the 'Okay, what do I need to know for this fic?' list.

You and me both. It's a little sad how many books I own in the name of research. I am okay with it though. It pleases me.

Oh, yes. Me too. There's something about the research books... a sort of special bond formed from life being made just a bit better because of information gained. (Did that make any sense? Or is it time to back away from the crazy person?)

No! I completely understand it! I love my research books dearly and don't get the same sort of comfort out of doing research from websites.
